Lighthouse’s News Highlights: 11/26-12/1

Listen to this article

Welcome to The Lighthouse’s weekly news highlights, where I shed light on what peaks my interest. Whether it’s funny or educational, and I’ll do my best to provide a bit of both.

Our first news highlight will be the issues happening with Russia’s neighbors. At this point even the ardent pro-Russia supporters who say they are Pro-White have to at least acknowledge that Putin and Russia have it’s own agenda that has nothing to do with the security and health of Europe. This is clear after Finland was forced to close its borders with Russia.

Finland closes last crossing point with Russia, sealing off entire border as tensions rise – AP News

The migrants hail from countries including Afghanistan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen, and the vast majority of them have applied for asylum in Finland once they reached the Finnish side on the border, authorities said.

Due to the increasing migration of Arabs coming from Russia into Finland, Finland has had to completely seal off their borders with Russia. Russia has a history of using migrants as a weapon in this manner, to increase instability in Europe and pressure European governments.

Our second piece of news relating to this region of the world is trucker protests happening in Poland. Exclusive: Economic losses pile up in Ukraine as Polish truckers protest

Thousands of trucks have been backed up at the border because of the protests, which began blocking trucks carrying commercial goods on Nov. 6. The Polish hauliers’ central demand is to stop Ukrainian truckers having permit-free access to the EU, something that Kyiv and Brussels say is impossible.

The war is putting tension on countries that border Ukraine, this war has been going on for nearly 2 years now. It’s crazy to think it’s been that long already, and we see its ripple effects causing more tension within the EU.

Are you surprised that I haven’t mentioned that Henry Kissinger has died yet? Well wait no longer! Henry Kissinger at the ripe old age of 100, has left this earth for good.

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger dead at 100

Henry Kissinger the German-born American diplomat, academic and presidential adviser who served as secretary of state for two presidents and left his stamp on U.S. foreign policy for decades, died Wednesday at the age of 100.

Henry Kissinger was an ardent Zionist, and he also made a huge impact in the effort to move manufacturing out of America into China. He had sway over presidents like Donald Trump, by continually being in the top donors list for many presidents for years. There are images and memes going around of people taking some of his infamous quotes about Jews and using them to say that he wasn’t “that bad”. I’m not convinced.

The third news item is related to Elon Musk who managed to piss off big companies that are boycotting him even more by telling them that they can go fuck themselves.

Elon Musk Just Told Advertisers, ‘Go Fuck Yourself’

“Don’t advertise,” Musk said in response to a question about X’s recent problems. “If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go fuck yourself. Go fuck yourself. Is that clear? Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience. That’s how I feel, don’t advertise.” Musk was referring to Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, which is among the brands that paused advertising on X this month in response to Musk’s recent actions.

Following these statements Elon Musk said that if the boycott results in Twitter (X or whatever) going bankrupt as a company, that “the world will know, lets see what the world thinks about that”. It’s a bold move Cotton, lets see if it pays off for him. This comes after he recently visited Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu gave him a tour of the areas of destruction created by Hamas. It seems Elon Musk has been taking blows and dishing them out left and right.

We now take a detour into the wonderful world of sports as we see an amusing yet tragic news story.

Bills linebacker Von Miller facing arrest for alleged assault Police in Dallas have issued an arrest warrant for Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller for allegedly assaulting a pregnant person

A wealthy black man assaulting a baby mama, oh no! Say it ain’t so! Is it the concussions from the contact sports that causes black men to continually ruin their careers where they earn millions annually by violently assaulting people (often women), or is something else? Hmmm. We may never know. Not only is that part amusing, but the absurdity of ABC news referring to this woman as a “pregnant person”. Which they later edited after people on social media sites made fun of them.

South African government pressed on farm murders and race quotas before UN committee after AfriForum submits reports

The South African government was questioned today on farm murders, race quotas and “Kill the Boer” during the United Nations’ (UN) Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) review sessions of South Africa in regards to discrimination. AfriForum submitted a report to CERD in 2022 on various issues impacting minorities in South Africa, including farm murders. In 2023 AfriForum submitted another report, which specifically documented the South African government’s 116+ pieces of racial legislation. This year the submission of the second report was accompanied by an opportunity to do a presentation before CERD.

If you are interested in seeing the presentation that was given by Ernst J. van Zyl, here is a short video:

The things being done to the White South Africans are absolutely appalling and although I’m doubtful that the UN will take it seriously, I sincerely hope that this can shed light on what is going on there, and what may happen to other White nations that give up the rule of their countries to people who are hostile to them.

This concludes this week’s segment, if you have anything I missed leave a comment below and I may include it in next week’s highlight or edit the current article to include it!
